    These tutorials will assist you to know, understand and apply ReadAct to any leadership, management, decision making or problem solving effort.

There are predictable and observable Interactions between Behaviors and Outcomes, which are based on probabilities of cause and effect influence.  When you lead, manage, solve problems or make decisions, you can use this framework of interactions to assess and guide your efforts.

Behaviors influence Outcomes.  Read Behaviors influence Outcomes because the accuracy of the Read of Situations or People determine the clarity and precision of choice of Methods and Resources with which to Act.  Act Behaviors influence Outcomes because the Acts themselves applying Methods and Resources produce Outcomes, desired or otherwise.  Monitoring the fit of Outcomes achieved to the target of Desired Outcomes anticipated provides constant feedback about Success and Achievement, Support and Teamwork, Economy and Ecology, and Productivity and Satisfaction.

Two Behaviors, one Read Behavior, either Read People or Read Situation, and one Act Behavior, either Act Methods or Act Resources, provide an equipoise (dynamic balance) of causal influence on each quadrant of Outcomes.  These formulas are based on real Interactions.  So it is predictable that:

Read Situation and Act Methods are the behaviors that interact most probably to influence the outcome of Success / Achievement.  Conversely a misRead of the Situation and/or a misAct applying Methods will result in diminished Success / Achievement.

Read People and Act Methods are the behaviors that interact most probably to influence the outcome of Support / Teamwork.  Conversely a misRead of the People and/or a misAct applying Methods will result in diminished Support / Teamwork.

Read Situation and Act Resources are the behaviors that interact most probably to influence the outcome of Economy / Ecology.  Conversely a misRead of the Situation and/or a misAct applying Resources will result in diminished Economy / Ecology.

Read People and Act Resources are the behaviors that interact most probably to influence the outcome of Productivity / Satisfaction.  Conversely a misRead of the Peole and/or a misAct applying Resources will result in diminished Productivity / Satisfaction.

The ReadAct Model places positive value at the center of both the scope of behaviors and the target of desired outcomes, so that as solutions are brought toward optimum outcome there tends to be more "overlapping of outcomes" and "synergy of actions" to enhance Quality as measured by the criteria specified by the user for each quadrant of desired outcomes.  Also the more "off the mark" an outcome measures, the clearer it becomes which behaviors need to be brought to bear to make the required adjustment and correction.  The use of ReadAct rewards you, the user, either with the desired outcomes produced or with a clearly assessable prescription for corrective action in the event of limited success or even out and out failure.
